The Schuttert Sport Sales returns to the programme of CSI Ommen with an exclusive collection of carefully selected young sport horses and promising showjumping foals. On Saturday, July 4th, starting at approximately 8:30 PM, six talented sport horses and nine exceptional foals will go under the hammer of Federik de Backer during the live auction at CSI Ommen.

“We already started working on this year’s collection shortly after last year’s successful auction,” explains initiator Hendrik Jan Schuttert. “We were proud to see many horses and foals sold to well-known professionals in the equestrian world, giving them every opportunity to develop towards the highest level of the sport. Developing young showjumping talent for international competition has always been our passion. With this auction, we aim to connect exceptional young horses with the right riders and owners, allowing them to fulfil their potential on the global stage.”

All horses were carefully selected and are now taking the first steps in their international careers. The six-year-olds have already proven themselves in CSI Young Horse classes, while the five-year-olds have demonstrated impressive talent and consistency in competition. All foals were selected with an eye on movement, confirmation, an interesting sire and a performance damline. 

One of the highlights of the collection is the six-year-old Pedrosilithy (Dakar VDL x Chello III). Produced by Hendrik Jan and Sally, this talented gelding has already built an impressive record in international Young Horse competitions, combining unlimited scope with an outstanding attitude. Another eye-catcher is Parfait Amour X (Comme il Faut x Verdi), a modern and athletic mare whose careful technique, light-footedness and natural power have already resulted in numerous clear rounds at international level. The collection also features the exceptionally charming five-year-old gelding Rambo (Kitt SB x Tolan R), who has impressed in national young horse classes with his natural balance, rideability and excellent jumping style.

All six sport horses possess the quality, pedigree and athleticism required for a future at the highest levels of showjumping.

The foal collection combines modern conformation, athletic movement and world-class bloodlines. The catalogue features offspring by proven sires and exciting young stallions including Tiger van ’t Ruytershof, Colestus, Drummer 2000 TN, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Balou de Reventon, VDL Mattias, Corydon van T&L, Bacardi VDL and Grandorado TN.

A standout among the fillies is Wonder Woman, a daughter of Grandorado TN and granddaughter of the legendary Pretty Woman van ’t Paradijs, the World Cup-winning mare of Willem Greve. Another highlight is Without a Doubt, an elegant filly by VDL Mattias, distinguished by her exceptional canter and modern type. Her sire is currently attracting attention with a string of clear rounds on the CSI5* tournaments under Jur Vrieling.

The colt Epidote R&D Z, by Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, combines outstanding quality with a strong-performing damline and is expected to appeal to both breeders and sport enthusiasts.

Equally impressive is Wabulu Girl W, a filly by Balou de Reventon out of the famous Roosakker damline, one of the most successful showjumping families in the world.

The Schuttert Sport Sales collection offers a unique opportunity to invest in future sport and breeding prospects backed by proven performance genetics.

The sport horses are available for trial by appointment in the weeks and days leading up to the auction. They will also be presented live during CSI Ommen on Thursday, July 2nd at 6:45 PM.

The auction itself will take place on Saturday, July 4th at approximately 8:30 PM. Bidding is possible both on-site and online. Interested buyers who wants to bid online can register via the Schuttert Sport Sales website. All sport horses have recently undergone both clinical and radiographic examinations.
