In an unprecedented collaboration, Scuderia 1918 and Bridl have joined forces to launch a transformative initiative aimed at shaping the future leaders of equestrian sports. The Scuderia 1918 Talent Racing Team is spearheading an ambitious project that selects young talents who have already made their mark in international equestrian competitions.

The foundation of the TALENTS program is Scuderia 1918's vision to develop future champions capable of excelling on the world stage. This initiative offers a comprehensive three-week full-immersion training program designed to provide a holistic education for these young athletes. Each day is meticulously structured to include physical training with a personal trainer, equestrian coaching with the renowned Olympian Giorgio Nuti, and afternoon classes on subjects such as ethology, horse management, nutrition, marketing, finance, and more.

"We firmly believe that in a team, strengths are multiplied. For this reason, a significant part of the program will focus on teaching young people to collaborate and support each other, highlighting each person's strengths. Through specific team-building activities, we will work to create the team spirit essential for becoming leaders," says Emanuele Anchisi, co-founder of Scuderia 1918.

This year, the selected young talents are Carolina Suarez Villanova, Ferrante Anchisi, and Lorenzo Patrese. These promising athletes, based in Italy at the Scuderia 1918 Research & Training Center, will receive comprehensive support to develop into true leaders, both in the competitive arena and beyond.

Under the guidance of the experienced Scuderia 1918 Racing Team and the Bridl, these young riders will not only strive for excellence in their sport but also focus on personal growth. The curriculum is designed to equip them with essential skills in marketing, finance, and data analysis, ensuring they are well-prepared for the multifaceted challenges of modern competitive sports.

Selection for this prestigious program is merit-based, with requirements including a passion and love for horses, jumping 1.45 ranking, and long-term competitive goals.

Scuderia 1918's approach mirrors the philosophy behind Scuderia Ferrari's renowned young driver program. Enzo Ferrari, the iconic founder of Ferrari, believed in creating drivers as well as machines. His visionary approach led to the nurturing of drivers like Niki Lauda and Gilles Villeneuve, who were given the chance to shine when they were relatively unknown. Similarly, the Scuderia 1918 and Bridl program is not just about training athletes; it aims to create a comprehensive learning environment where young riders can flourish.

Joseph Harding, the Chief of Operations at Bridl, elaborates on this philosophy, "Having taught entrepreneurship to hundreds of entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley at Draper University, I see a direct parallel between nurturing startup founders and developing equestrian talent. Our program takes the best practices from Silicon Valley's incubator programs, fostering innovation, resilience, and leadership among these young riders. This experience shapes our approach, emphasizing the need for these athletes to work together as a team, supporting each other and building on each other's strengths, rather than just focusing on individual achievements.”

Marie Marks, the CEO of Bridl, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "We are thrilled to partner with Scuderia 1918 in this groundbreaking initiative. Our goal is to not only foster top-tier athletes but also to cultivate future leaders who will make significant contributions to the equestrian world."

As these young talents embark on their journey, they carry the legacy of Scuderia 1918 and Bridl's dedication to excellence, innovation, and leadership in equestrian sports. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the evolution of equestrian training and development, setting new standards for future generations of riders.

The Scuderia 1918 and Bridl program is set to redefine the landscape of equestrian sports, merging the best of traditional training with cutting-edge innovation. By fostering a new generation of equestrian leaders, this program ensures a bright future for the sport, marked by excellence, integrity, and forward-thinking.
