Once again, the sport horse and foal auction is back on the agenda at CSI Ommen, and for the second consecutive year as the Schuttert Sport Sales. A promising collection of 5- to 7-year-old showjumpers and a selection of foals will be offered by Hendrik Jan and Sally Schuttert. On Saturday, July 12th, starting at 08:30pm, six sport horses and eight showjumping foals will be auctioned at CSI Ommen.

"We are always focused on developing young, promising showjumpers for the international sport. That’s also the goal with this auction: selling young talent to the right clients who will give these horses the chance to shine on the global stage," explains initiator Hendrik Jan Schuttert. "This selection of talents was found at an early age and is at the start of their international careers. The 6- and 7-year-olds have already made successful CSI debuts, and the 5-year-old Boomerang Optimus Z seems to have all the promise for a bright future."

One of the auction horses is the 7-year-old Nochi Leste TS (by I’m Special de Muze), who has already achieved several top placings and competed successfully up to 1.40m level. Other notable sport horses include Opportunity (by Poker de Mariposa TN), striking for his immense power and high percentage of clear rounds, and Olivia—a particularly charming 6-year-old mare by It’s Otto with an impressive track record. The 5-year-old Bamako de Muze son, Boomerang Optimus Z, shows great potential and scope for the big sport.

For the foals, it is about quality in both the conformation, movement and pedigree. Top sires like For Pleasure, Akarad Hero Z, Chacco Blue, Echo van ’t Spieveld, and Tobago Z are represented in the collection. Noteworthy is Chaccerno van ’t Reevediep; a colt by Chacco Blue and a great-grandson of world champion Liscalgot. Featured as well is the filly Voque GP (by Echo van ’t Spieveld x Kannan), a half-sister of top talent Melien and granddaughter of the 1.60m mare Elien. Anoth highlight is Ching-Ching Key Z, a Chacco Blue colt tracing back to the legendary Usha van ’t Roosakker.

The sport horses can be tried out by appointment in the coming weeks and will be presented live on Thursday, July 10th at 06:00pm at CSI Ommen. The auction will take place on Saturday, July 12th at 08:30pm, with bidding available both live and online. All horses have been recently vetted, both radiologically as well as clinically.
