Flanders’ already auctioned several foals out of the dam of top-class showjumping horse All-in. This time they picked out the magnificent colt Chacin van de Berghoeve Z (Cornet Obolensky x Andiamo).
After several embryo auctions in the beginning of the year in Belgium and the Emirates, it’s finally time for real foals for Flanders Foal Auction. Today at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre (NED), 31 jumping foals will be auctioned. And it’s gonna be an exciting evening again!
The filly Champion FFA Z (Cornet Obolensky x Con Air) is bred out of the full sister to the stallion Conrad de Hus, winner of silver at the 2015 European Championships with Gregory Wathelet.
The foals all have:
- excellent pedigrees
- a good sport type
- an athletic canter
But, just the pedigree alone is not enough at Flanders Foal Auction. “With thanks to the breeders! We have noticed that the big breeders offer us first choice. ‘First Flanders can come and have a look, then the other auctions’, they say. We are very grateful for this. Having first choice immediately makes a difference”, says Luk Van Puymbroeck and Gerald Lenaerts.
The colt Senator by Nature (Cornet Obolensky x Catoki) is bred out of the 1.60m GP mare Carriere, ridden by Daniel Deusser. Carriere’s sister was also successful in 5* GP’s.
The auction collection can be found at www.flandersfoalauction.be. The foal presentation on 25 June starts at 18.00 hours CET, the actual auction at 20.00 hours CET.
Check the quality foals out of performance families and descending from, amongst others, Chacco Blue, Emerald, Carthago Z, Cornet Obolensky, Baloubet du Rouet, Cumano, Darco, Mylord Carthago and even the influential Voltaire, who passed away in 2004.
The filly What About Me EH (Baloubet du Rouet x Darco) is out of the 1.50m Grand Prix mare Carrera de Muze, mom of two 1.60m GP horses. Grandam is the famous Exquis Walnut de Muze.
