The Billy Stud auction site is now live!

We are holding our annual online auction on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd October 2019. There will be two official viewing days at the stud's Surrey base on Saturday 19th October and Monday 21st October

The Billy Stud is a joint venture between William and Pippa Funnell and Donal Barnwell and it is now in its 25th year. The stud originally used top class Irish bloodlines combining them with continental stallions for their foundation mares. The stud now has proven bloodlines that have produced horses that have successfully competed at European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Games.

There will be 34 horses available in the auction aged 3 and 4 years old, out of the studs proven dam lines and by world class showjumping sires.

* Same dam as Billy Angelo (double clear in Lummen 5* Nations Cup)

* Three progeny from Karina (double clear 5* Nations Cup & 51 international wins)

* Progeny of Fame (2* Grand Prix winner and competed at 5* level with Geir Gulliksen, NOR)

* The full sister of Billy Guilder (1.60m) and Billy Stirling (1.60m)

* Half sister of Billy Angelette (1.60m and jumped the Hickstead Derby 2019)

The viewing days will be a chance to see all of the auction horses in their stables with the 3 year olds being shown loose jumping and the 4 year olds under saddle jumping round a course. 

All horses have available to view a full set of x-rays and a 5 stage vetting.
