The Palm Beach Auction is pleased to announce its return in a whole new way, with horses available to be tried in Wellington from November 23rd and bidding taking place online, at thepalmbeachauction.com from December 4th through 7th.

As the show jumping season in Wellington is about to start, and travel restrictions have made it difficult to travel to search for horses, The Palm Beach Auction is proud to introduce a group of 15 carefully selected horses imported straight from Europe to Wellington. Chosen by showjumpers with a lifetime of experience, the second edition selection features talented horses that range from experienced competition horses to promising jumpers ready for the 7 year old divisions.

This year our selectors for the Palm Beach Auction include top-ten ranked showjumper Darragh Kenny, two-time World Cup Finalist Hardin Towell, and Olympic athlete Kevin Babington.

“We have collected an impressive group of horses which have been competing in the European circuit, with great results,” said Darragh Kenny. “Some of these horses I have personally ridden in the show ring in Oliva, winning and with top placings. For sure they are ready to win in Wellington too.”

Paying careful attention to select quality horses that all are ready to step straight into the show ring, the December collection features horses that are suitable for juniors and amateurs and includes grand prix level horses.

“I had the privilege to participate in the inaugural edition of The Palm Beach Auction and I am energized to help out again,” said Kevin Babington. “I always enjoy selecting horses, recognizing their talent and their challenges. I have to say the horses for this edition are pretty impressive, a solid group very suitable for the American Market.”

“I have found my best horses at auctions, and some of the horses sold at our auctions have made it to the top of the sport,” said Juan Pablo Gnecco, Palm Beach Auction founder. “I am thankful to our team of selectors and riders, and proud of the horses in this collection.”
