The third edition of the World Sport Horse Sales, held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala Florida, is highly anticipated. Around the WEC the talk of the town is the 14 auction horses that will go under the hammer on Friday 14 March. With a brilliant collection of talented and versatile horses, the interest is peaking and the organization ready to present the best of the best.

A fine mix of show jumpers, hunters and equitation horses makes up the 2025 collection of the WSHS-auction, powered by Stal Hendrix, André Thieme and Redfield Farm. The horses originate both from the EU and the USA and all of them have found their bearings in the Florida equestrian scene. Several of the lots have been showing their potential in the ring at HITS earlier this month, earning top rankings, victories and even championship titles.

Trials

The presentation gave interested parties the opportunity to see the horses in action. “We are glad that many equestrians came out to see the horses on Tuesday”, Paul Hendrix says. “It is great to see familiar faces and to meet new people and to find out which horses peak their interest. There has already been significant interest in trying the horses, but we still have a few days to go. Our full selection committee, myself, Emile, Michel and Timothy Hendrix, André Thieme and Emil Spadone, is here to assist potential buyers and inform them about the possibilities.”

Ambassadors

With the third edition of the auction in sight, the references of the WSHS are also making waves on the circuit. Several ambassadors of the auction have been earning top rankings both in the international showjumping ring and in the hunter/equitation scene. For example, now 8yo Masseltof (v. Baltic VDL) earned the winning title in the young horse final at Valkenswaard last summer with Nathalie Dean. Cellestino has been earning lots of ribbons with Mary-Beth McGee in the hunter ring. As is Kandoo PJ – who now goes by the name Diesel, who is rising the ranks with his owner Abi Russo.
