What does the well-known Flanders Foal Auction have in store for tonight’s auction at Peelbergen Equestrian Center? “Once again, a very strong collection,” preview Luk Van Puymbroeck and Gerald Lenaerts. Starting with the retired 1.50m level showjumping mare Havana M (Verdi x Cardento) and her colt, and followed by another 31 high-class jumping foals.

“We have a very strong collection with sixteen colts and sixteen fillies. Five of these foals are out of mares that competed at 1.50m to 1.60m Grand Prix level, and two more are bred out of 1.45m level showjumping mares. The pedigrees are steeped in top sport, and the foals themselves reflect this. Excellent models, athletic and a strong canter.”
