Once a year, the doors of what may well be the most beautiful showjumping stable in the Netherlands open for a very special event: the Suus Kuyten Auctions. And that moment is today, Tuesday 15 December. International showjumper Suus Kuyten will be auctioning 26 showjumping horses at her stable in Eemnes, while immersing her guests in an unforgettable Christmas atmosphere.
The auction starts at 7:15 PM with the sale of a beautiful pony, with the full proceeds going to Support Casper, the campaign of the Foundation Living with Pancreatic Cancer.
Six approved stallions
The auction then kicks off with All 4 Love PM Z (Aganix du Seigneur), one of the six approved stallions in this collection. “He has everything it takes to develop into a sensation in the showjumping arena.” He is bred out of the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Alfa Jordan Z, ridden by Suus Kuyten, and Katie with Mouda Zeyada.
True powerhouses are the young stallions W-JRL-Whats Upp H (Ogano Sitte) and What Ever d’Arco (Colorit Z), while Olly vh Zand Z (Orak d’Hamwyck) is also a very talented half-brother to Evita van ’t Zoggehof (1.60m Grand Prix).
“To complete the picture even more, we have added an extra video of these stallions to the website, as well as one of What Ever, an Emerald mare out of the damline of Ephebe Forever,” explains Suus Kuyten.
Two World Championship finalists
The pedigrees are promising and the horses live up to them. Two five-year-old auction horses even reached the final of the WBFSH World Breeding Championships in Lanaken: Pennsylvania VDS (Dominator 2000 Z) and Powerman (Jukebox).“
There are several I would have loved to keep for myself,” Suus Kuyten laughs. She is particularly fond of the six-year-old mare Dame de Montrose Z (Dominator Z), who appears to be a future Grand Prix horse.
Live & online bidding
Previous editions of the Suus Kuyten Auctions were highly acclaimed by professionals from both the Netherlands and abroad. They purchased in large numbers and are achieving excellent results at competitions. Those unable to attend the auction in person can follow it online.
