The Starhorses’ Z Online Auction has come to an end with fantastic results. It was Abdullah Al Sharbatly who bought the most expensive horse at auction: Artuur JH Z, for an amount of € 240.000.
Artuur JH Z, a 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding by Andiamo Z x Baloubet du Rouet, has already competed at five-star Grand Prix level with Belgium’s Thierry Goffinet in the saddle and won two three-star Grand Prix classes in Vilamoura last year.
“Artuur is a really competitive horse, he has the abilities to win 5* Grand Prix’s and I already believe in him,” Al Sharbatly stated. “I really think that we will have a bright future together.”
Other highlights of the auction included Jonsaunier DH, a 9-year-old stallion by Vertigo Saint-Benoit x Codex, sold for € 170.000 to the US and Idole 111, a 10-year-old mare by Darco x Cassini I, sold for € 100.000 to Belgium.
