Ashford Farm has secured Zerlin M (Berlin x Concorde) for Marlon Zanotelli. The 11 year old stallion came to the Brazilian rider at the beginning of the year, and the two quickly found the tone - notching up five star wins in Den Bosch and Antwerp as well as recently ending third in the Longines Grand Prix in St. Tropez.
Now, Enda Carroll has decided to buy Zerlin M to keep him for Zanotelli to ride. "Following the interest for Zerlin M there was a real risk he would be sold, and I really wanted to secure him for Marlon. Our intention is to keep him for Marlon for the top sport. We leave the door open for other possible investors, but the horse will not be for sale. We see Zerlin as a great horse for the future, and look forward to following Marlon and him together," Carroll says to World of Showjumping.
