The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced their team for the FEI Jumping European Championship 2023 in Milan, Italy, due to take place from 30 August to 3 September at the Ippodromo Snai San Siro racecourse.
The Belgian team for Milan is as follows:
- Niels Bruynseels and Delux van T&L (Toulon x Landetto, owners Global one Horses and W.Keller – breeder Stud van T & L)
- Nicola Philippaerts and Katanga van het Dingeshof (Cardento x Tornedo FCS, owners Team Philippaerts, Fam. Lens & AMB Holding – breeder Liliane Vermeulen)
- Olivier Philippaerts and H&M Miro (Diamant de Semilly x Kannan, owners Charlotte Söderström & Team Philippaerts – breeder BVBA Brutsaert)
- Koen Vereecke and Kasanova de La Pomme (Bamako de Muze x Malito des Reves, owner Joris De Brabander – breeder Haras de La Pomme Baertson-Keldermann)
- Wilm Vermeir and IQ van het Steentje (Toulon x Kannan, owner Bert Vermeir – breeder Pauwels-Caluwe)
Who of the five horse-and-rider-combinations will serve as the reserve pair, will be decided later on by Belgian Chef d'Equipe Peter Weinberg.
