Spain’s Sergio Alvarez Moya has acquired the now 15-year-old stallion Böckmann's Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmanns Lord Pezi x Quattro B, bred by Werner Meyer).
Previously ridden by Brazil’s Pedro Veniss – who took over the reins from Germany’s Marco Kutcher in 2020 – Lord Pezi Junior has been hugely successful at the highest level of the sport. In November 2023, Veniss and Lord Pezi Junior placed seventh in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Madrid and during the year the pair recorded no less than six international victories – in Chantilly, St Tropez and Vejer de la Frontera. Prior to Kutcher and Veniss, Lord Pezi Junior was produced by Germany’s Hartwig Rohde.
“While this has nothing to do with the upcoming Olympics, Lord Pezi Junior will be a nice addition to my stable,” Alvarez Moya commented to World of Showjumping. “Having him will help Puma and the younger horses I have.”
