Axel Verlooy has sold the 10-year-old gelding Bokai (Up To Date x Ferro) to the US, and his new rider will be Catherine Tyree. 

Verlooy bought Bokai just before Christmas last year. Up until then the gelding had been competed by Norway's Victora Gulliksen, who took him all the way from youngster level and to the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. Netherland's Harrie Smolders then took over the reins, and with him in the saddle Bokai has been showing consistent form on CSI5* 1.50/1.55 level also contributing to several podium finishes in the Global Champions League competitions for his team Antwerp Diamonds.
