British Equestrian announces nominated entries for the 2024 Olympic Games

British Equestrian and the British Showjumping selectors have confirmed the 12 horse-and-rider combinations that will be submitted to the FEI as their nominated entries for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. 

Listed in alphabetical order, the nominated entries include: 

  • Scott Brash with Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham’s Hello Jefferson (Cooper van de Heffinck x Irco Mena, bred by Bernard Mols) and Hello Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 28, bred by Tina Petersson-Lind) 
  • Harry Charles with Ann Thompson and Peter Charles’ Aralyn Blue (Chacco-Blue x Ludwig AS, bred by Franjo Udovc) and Romeo 88 (Contact van de Heffink x Orlando, bred by Picobello Horses), as well as Stall Zet and Peter Charles’ Sherlock (Bisquet Balou C x Malito De Reve, bred by Gustaaf Quintelier) 
  • Tim Gredley with Rachel Gredley, William Gredley and Unex Competition Yard Ltd’s Imperial HBF (Glasgow-W VH Merelsnest x Original VDL, bred by HBF Stud) and Medoc de Toxandria (Der Senaat III x Kelvin de Sainte Hermelle, bred by Werner Dierckx)
  • Ben Maher with Charlotte Rossetter, Pamela Wright and his own Dallas Vegas Batilly (Cap Kennedy x L’Arc de Triomphe, bred by Jean Claude Viollet), Enjeu de Grisien (Toulon x Andiamo, bred by S.C.E.A. Elevage de Grisien), and Point Break (Action-Breaker x Baloubet du Rouet, bred by Nya Äppelvikens Ridskola AB)
  • Joseph Stockdale with Joy Cocklin and Laura Stockdale’s Equine America Cacharel (Cachas x Quinar, bred by Bohm Helmut)
  • Robert Whitaker with Stephen and Caroline Blatchford’s Vermento (Argento x Skippy 12, bred by John and Clare Whitaker)

The final selection of four combinations to travel to Paris as part of the British team as well the reserves will be announced in late June.
