For an impressive 6th consecutive year, the late Chacco-Blue (Chambertin x Contender) tops the WBFSH Sire Ranking for jumping horses. Ranked no. one in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, the stallion yet again leads the way on the 2022-ranking released by the WBFSH – with H5 Chaganus (dam Whizz Kid, by Chartago), Star Dust (dam Ginny Air, by Con Air 7) and Sea Topblue (dam Sea Top Lady, by Lux Z) as his three top ambassadors.
Just like last year, the late Diamant de Semilly (Le Tot de Semilly x Elf III) is rank two – with Vital Chance de La Roque (dam Image du Chateau II, by Rivage du Poncel), Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (dam Cacacha van het Schaeck, by Bamako de Muze) and H&M Miro (dam Indiana, by Kannan) as his top three offspring. Mylord Carthago *HN (Carthago x Jalisco B) moves up from rank four to three this year, with Truman (dam Kastana, by Kolibri), Billabong du Roumois (dam Iroise du Roumois, by Papillon Rouge) and Argan de Beliard (dam La Belle Normande, by Ahorn) as his best three ambassadors.
The late Kannan (Voltaire x Nimmerdor) is up from rank 14th to being fourth this year, while Toulon (Heartbreaker x Jokinal de Borvinal) goes up from rank six to five.
The ranking includes validated FEI results from October 1 2021 to September 30 2022.
