Studforlife.com reports that Citizenguard Taalex will switch rider from Gregory Wathelet to Rodrigo Pessoa. The 12-year-old stallion by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Alexis Z will join Pessoa at the Winter Equestrian Festival for next season, and has already flown to the States.
Wathelet took over the reins on Citizenguard Taalex at the end of 2015. To Studforlife.com, horse owner Alain Van Campenhoudt explains that the decision to switch rider has been made on good terms and after discussions with Wathelet in which they both agreed that this solution would be the best for the horse. Van Campenhoudt explains that he intends to continue to work with Wathelet in the future.
