Coolmore Showjumping has acquired Katrin Eckermann's promising 7-year-old stallion Earl of Alice (Eldorado vd Zeshoek TN x Cinsey, bred by Ralf Mewes) for Tom Wachman.
Wachman – one of Ireland's biggest talents – has had a tremendous season, helping the Irish to the win in the CSIO5* Barrière Nations Cup in La Baule, as well as impressing in the Longines League of Nations™ in Rotterdam, the CSIO5* Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup in Aachen, the CSIO5* Aga Khan Nations Cup in Dublin and in the CSIO5* BMO Nations Cup at Spruce Meadows. Still a young rider, Wachman was also on the Irish team that won silver at the 2025 FEI Jumping European Championship for Young Riders, Juniors & Children in Riesenbeck this summer.
With the arrival of Earl of Alice, Wachman has a promising new horse joining his team. With Eckermann in the saddle, the stallion took bronze at last year's FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for 6-year-old horses and has consistently performed well in the young horse classes he has competed in.
