Daisuke Fukushima’s Chanyon (Chacco-Blue x Grand Canyon) and Conblue (Conthargos x Chacco Blue) have been acquired by Gut Einhaus LLC for US junior rider Ansgar Holtgers Jr. The two geldings were both co-owned by Paul Schockemöhle and the Japanese Equestrian Federation.
With Fukushima in the saddle, the 13-year-old Chanyon stole lots of hearts when jumping to an individual sixth place for Japan at the Olympic Games in Tokyo back in August. The 11-year-old Conblue has been competing successfully up to 1.50m level.
“We are thrilled to have been able to secure two exceptional horses, Chanyon and Conblue, for Ansgar Holtgers Jr.,” said Sarah Middleton, manager of Gut Einhaus LLC, to World of Showjumping. “Between them, they have extraordinary accomplishments and are most certainly prized additions to Ansgar Holtgers Jr’s stable at Gut Einhaus LLC.”
“We are very fortunate that both the Japanese Equestrian Federation and Paul Schockemöhle made such special considerations for Ansgar Holtgers Jr to become Chanyon and Conblue’s new rider. We are very excited, and we look forward to a successful future with these incredible horses,” Middleton closed off.
