Dirk Demeersman will become Belgium’s new Chef d’Equipe. The Belgian Equestrian Federation had several candidates on the list for the position, but the choice fell on the 50 year old rider who now will put his own showjumping career on hold. Demeersman has three Olympic Games, two World Championships and three European Championships to look back on, including a team bronze medal from the World Championships in in Kentucky.
