In an announcement on his official Facebook page, Eric Lamaze has shared with his fans and friends that he has had to cancel his fall tour – including this week's CHI Geneva – due to health concerns.

Many were missing the 2008 Olympic Champion – one of the true stars of the sports – on the entry list for the 2018-edition of the event. "I am so disappointed to be missing this fantastic event but the circumstances prevent it. It will be exciting to watch the outcome of this world-class competition, supported by our friends at ROLEX. Best of luck to everyone in the International Jumping Riders Club Top Ten Final and the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping including our own Spencer Smith," shared Lamaze on his official Facebook page. 

We wish Eric the very best, and hope for full recovery alongside a return to the ring in the near future.
