According to the latest FEI update, one horse that returned from the international show in Gorla Minore, Italy, has tested positive for EHV-1 following a precautionary test in its home stable in Austria. The horse has not shown any clinical symptoms and the FEI states that it is unlikely that this case is linked to the Valencia outbreak.

Furthermore, the French National Federation has confirmed to the FEI that they will extend their shutdown of all national competitions until 11 April. Other national federations are also looking at prolonging the lockdown on their national events.
