Amy Graham’s former top horse Bella Baloubet (Baloubet du Rouet x Landadel) has passed away, at the age of 19.
Graham had Bella Baloubet since he was a 6-year-old, and produced him up to five-star Grand Prix level. The pair had lots of success, and took international victories in Drachten, Lanaken, Paris, Salzburg and St Lô during their time together. In 2014, the two also competed at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Caen.
The pair parted ways in April 2015, when Graham sold the stallion to US-based Rushy Marsh Farm. After the sale, Bella Baloubet was seen under Kim Prince, Denis Lynch and William Whitaker.
On her Instagram profile, Graham pays tribute to her former partner and writes: "I love you Bella, I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you gallop in our fields again."
Our thoughts go out to all those that were close to Bella Baloubet.
