Castle Forbes Vivaldo vh Costersveld has been put to sleep, following an unfortunate accident in the paddock. Attempts to save Vivaldo were made with several hours of surgery, but unfortunately it did not go the right way. On his former rider Roger-Yves Bost’s official Facebook page, it is stated that: “It was a very special horse. I will never forget him. I think of his owner Lady Georgina Forbes who loved him so much (…)”.
Roger-Yves Bost's 17 year old former partner by Clinton x Randel Z, was retired from the sport at the end of last summer. Vivaldo had no less than 58 international podium appearances during his career including 27 wins, whereas seven came in 2014 in Zurich, Bordeaux, Paris, La Baule and Estoril.
