Very sadly, the 15-year-old gelding Legend (Ogano Sitte x Nabab de Reve, bred by Jonas Boone) has passed away, Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar shared on social media.
Produced by Delphine Goemaere (BEL), Legend joined Alvarez Aznar’s team in 2019. With Alvarez Aznar in the saddle, Legend placed third in the CSI5* 1.60m Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Shanghai in 2025 as well as third in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Lyon and 8th in the World Cup of Verona in 2024 – among many top placings at the highest level. The two represented Spain at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, at the 2021 FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final in Barcelona as well as at the 2021 European Championships in Riesenbeck.
