At the age of 20, HH Rebozo (Tlaloc La Silla x Ramiro Z) has passed away.

With Brazil’s Rodrigo Pessoa in the saddle, the stallion jumped at the 2012 Olympic Games in London as well as at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky – where he finished fourth in the final. In 2010, the pair was also third in the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix classes in Torino and Rome as well as in the 1.60m Spectra Energy Cup at Spruce Meadows.

On his Instagram page, Pessoa writes: “So sorry to hear today the loss of one of great partners. HH Rebozo was purchased by Hunter Harrison himself from Skara Glen. One morning he called me and said “I bought a new GP horse we should go and pick it up” it was not a bad choice at all he was generous and kind as a stallion and I really enjoyed working with him. RIP Bozz.”

Our thoughts go out to all those close to Rebozo.
