Very sadly, Janika Sprunger’s faithful companion JL Komparse has passed away at the age of 15.
In an emotional post on Facebook, Sprunger shared the sad news:
"Thanks little warrior for all the joy you gave us until your last seconds.
YOU are for me a once in a life time horse!!
YOU travelled with me all around the world and were fighting and winning for us in all the biggest shows!
YOU were the most motivated, sweet, easy little dream horse any girl could ever dream of.
YOU jumped your heart out for me!!!!! I’m just so grateful I was your rider and just so sad to let you go today.
.... You will be ALWAYS in my heart - rest well JL's Komparse
Thanks to the ppl that loved him and took care of him.”
Together, Sprunger and JL's Komparse won countless of classes all over the world including in Geneva, Den Bosch, Lyon and Valkenswaard – just to mention a few.
Our thoughts go out to Janika and her entire team.
