Robert Smith's former top horse Kalusha has been put to sleep at the age of 22. The Dutch bred gelding by Ulster x Orthos won many big classes during his career, a highlight being the two back-to-back wins on home soil in 2005 in the World Cup at Olympia, London and in the Grand Prix the following day. The last years Kalusha has been enjoying his retirement from the international show rings.
