Five-star JumpingClash Challenge to Antwerp

Jumping Antwerpen will be the first five-star show to host a JumpingClash Challenge competition. The new concept had its world premiere during the two-star event of Madrid Horse Week last November, and returns in April at the five-star event of Jumping Antwerpen.

“We wanted a new project, to bring and to live showjumping in a new and different way. We want to go back to our own identity and do “our” thing,” said Mr. Johan Dejager, President of the Organising Committee of Jumping Antwerpen at a press conference last week.

Jumping Antwerpen also gets a new location for its 2017-edition as it moves to Sloepenweg River Banks, which offers unique views of the river Scheldt on one side and the newly renovated Havenhuis on the other. “It also offers the opportunity to increase the interaction between visitors, sport and horses in a safe manner. The collecting ring will be flanked by a spacious row of exhibition booths from where one can see the world’s best horses and riders warming up for the real thing,” said Event Director Pieter Dejager.

“We are really proud to celebrate our CSI5* premiere at such a great event as Jumping Antwerpen,” commented Mr. Daniel Entrecanales – founder and President of the JumpingClash Challenge.
