Irish rider Darragh Kenny is strengthening his string of horses ahead of next year. With the addition of no less than four new horses, Kenny is well prepared for 2020.

Kenny has bought the 12-year-old Carthano (Cartani x Heraldik xx), which was previously competed by Manuel Fernandez Saro (ESP) up to CSI5* level. The two made their last appearance in London just before Christmas.

Furthermore, Kenny has bought the 8-year-old Gelano (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Celano). Gelano has competed up to 1.40m level with Jonathon Buxton (GBR) in the saddle.

The 8-year-old Whysol Cornados (Cornado I x Lados) will also be seen with Kenny in the future. Michael Cristofoletti (ITA) has competed the gelding up to 1.45m level.

Last, but not least, Kenny has invested in the 8-year-old Good Choice (Vleut x Cassicor), that has been competing up to 1.40m level with Almudena Terrasa Moll (ESP).

“Together with my owner Ann Thompson and other investors, I’m very excited to have these four horses to complement my string and I’m really looking forward to next year. I will start them all up in Wellington at the beginning of 2020 and take my time to get to know them,” Kenny says to World of Showjumping.
