The news went around for quite a while already, but now Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano has finally confirmed the sale of his wonderful Admara to Colombia’s Carlos Lopez in an interview with Equnews. After Admara’s outstanding performances, which includes a World Cup win in Olympia London in 2015, many potential buyers were interested. Although Carlos Lopez has been co-owner since the beginning of January, the official sale was not concluded until last week.

“After Admara’s wonderful performances, Carlos Lopez was one of many interested potential buyers. I was not convinced at that time and took his offer into consideration. Since the deadline for the Olympic Games came closer, Lopez became co-owner of Admara. Last week Admara was finally officially sold to Carlos Lopez,” Emanuele Gaudiano states in an interview with Equnews.

At the end of last year Carlos Lopez sold his number one mount Prince de la Mare to Alexander Onischenko, and now has Admara as a new star in his stables. Emanuele Gaudiano still has some potential Olympic mounts in his string: the 10-year-old Caspar 232 (Berlin x Padarco), his loyal mare Cocoshynsky (Cornet Obolensky x Popcorn) and coming-star Guess 6 (Bentley vd Heffinck x Surrealist van ‘t Paradijs).
