Heinrich-Hermann Engemann, Germany’s team coach in jumping for more than a decade alongside their Chef d’Equipe Otto Becker, is doing his last Nations Cup with the German riders in Vilamoura, Portugal today.

“I have worked with the German Equestrian Federation for the past 12 years, and we have had a great time,” Engemann comments to World of Showjumping. “Due to financial issues related to Covid-19 we were sadly unable to find a compromise that was beneficial for all parties. This week’s event in Vilamoura will be my last with the German team, and from 1st of January I will be working with the Colombian jumping team. My contract with the Colombian Federation is valid for the next four years; a full Olympic cycle.”
