Steve Guerdat has been elected as the Best Rider of the Year by L’Année Hippique. This annual award has been announced by Best Communications and Management (BCM), publisher of L’Année Hippique. The members of the International Jumping Riders Clubs and the readers of Horse International were the voters for the awards that are handed out for the three Olympic disciplines of jumping, dressage and eventing. Steve got 44% of votes in the jumping category, and was crowned with the title.
