America's rising star Lillie Keenan has added a new talent to her string of horses, the 9-year-old Happy Day Ter Putte.
The Belgian-bred gelding by Calvaro x Quidam de Revel has had a very good season under Sweden's Jacob Hellström, winning both a CSI3* 1.50m class and the CSI3* Grand Prix at the Baltica Tour this summer in addition to recording several other good results at the same level throughout the year.
"Even though it's hard to let go of such an amazing horse, it's going to be very exciting to follow his future career with Lillie Keenan coached by Cian O'Connor!" says Jacob Hellström to World of Showjumping.
Keenan, aged 20, trains with Cian O'Connor and is currently ranked 214th in the world. This year Keenan has had several impressive results at five-star level, and helped the American team to a third place in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona after a clear round on Super Sox.
