The 10-year-old KWPN stallion Guinness (Nabab de Reve x Katell) has been sold and will in the future be seen with Belgium's Gudrun Patteet. With Ireland's Harry Allen in the saddle, Guinness has been successful at the highest level. In October, the pair placed second in the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in St.Lo, second in the CSI5* Grand Prix in Oslo and 13th in the CSI5* Longines FEI World Cup in Oslo. Earlier this year, they jumped a double clear for Ireland in the CSIO3* Nations Cup in Drammen – helping the team to the win. The pair was also part of the Irish team that won silver at the European Championships for young riders in Vilamoura this summer.

"I’m very happy to welcome Guinness to my team," Patteet comments to World of Showjumping. "For quite a while I have been looking for a new horse for the big classes. I saw him in Oslo for the first time and straight away really liked him. I hope I can do as good as Harry did with him."

On his official Instagram account, Allen writes: "I am delighted to see Guinness continue his career with a top international rider Gudrun Patteet. I wish them both all the best for the future! A huge thank you to Noel Delahunty for trusting us with bringing up this amazing horse!"
