Great Britain's Harry Charles takes over the reins on the 12-year-old mare Irenice Horta (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Diamant de Semilly). The pair will make their debut during the CSI2* show at Sentower Park in Belgium this week.
In 2018, Irenice Horta impressed when jumping to a 7th place individually at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon with Italy’s Lorenzo De Luca in the saddle. The pair also finished 4th in the CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix in Doha, and were 3rd in the CSIO5* Grand Prix in Dublin. At the end of 2018, the mare was sold and Ireland’s Cian O'Connor took over the ride. With O'Connor in the saddle, Irenice Horta finished 2nd in the CSIO5* Grand Prix of Rome in 2019.
The grey mare’s last show was in Samorin in October 2019. After being absent from the international rings for over half-a-year, Irenice Horta now makes her comeback with one of Britain’s rising stars.
