After taking over the number one spot on the Longines Ranking for the first time in his career last month, Sweden’s Olympic team gold medallist and double world champion Henrik von Eckermann continues to top the prestigious list for a second consecutive month leading the way with 3459 points ahead of Martin Fuchs (SUI) on 3296 points as rank two. The top four remain unchanged from last month, with Peder Fredricson (SWE) as rank three on 2923 points and Conor Swail (IRL) as rank four on 2895 points.
Julien Epaillard (FRA) continues his climb up the ranking, going from ninth to fifth, while Ben Maher (GBR) moves up to rank six from last month's seventh, and Harrie Smolders (NED) from eight to seven. Kent Farrington (USA), last month's rank number ten, is now rank number eight, while Max Kühner (AUT) returns inside the Top 10 as rank nine, and Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) makes a giant jump as he goes from rank 18 to ten.
The ranking includes validated results from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022.
