The Gulliksen-family has bought the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding Best Boy 2 (Contagio x Sunrise) from Henrik von Eckermann and Janika Sprunger. 

With von Eckermann in the saddle, Best Boy 2 has been successful all the way up to five-star level and at the pair’s latest outing at CHI5* Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar, back in March they finished second and fifth in two 1.50m classes. 

To World of Showjumping, von Eckermann commented: “Together with my partner Janika Sprunger, I bought Best Boy last April and it has been a great journey with him – for which we’re thankful. I hope he can keep his good record of results and make his future rider as happy and proud as he has made us. We are very happy to see him going to a good home.”

Who the talented gelding's future rider will be, has not yet been decided Geir Gulliksen told World of Showjumping.
