Lauren Hough and Alexander Zetterman have switched two of their horses with each other: Reconnaissance goes to Zetterman and Waterford to Hough.
Waterford, a 13-year-old gelding by Coolcorron Cool Diamond x Julio Mariner xx, came to Zetterman last year after winning gold at the European Championships for Young Riders with his compatriot Ebba Larsson in the saddle. Together the two have been competing in 1.45-1.50 classes during this year’s Winter Equestrian Festival.
Reconnaissance has been jumping at five-star level with Hough. As a young horse, the 11-year-old gelding by Camaro M x Irco Mena, was owned by Alexander’s father Royne. According to tidningenridsport.se, Alexander used to compete the horse and always liked him.
Hough looks set to make her debut with Waterford at the CSI5* LGCT event in Miami Beach this weekend as the two are on the entry list for the show.
