Ireland’s Jessica Burke has announced the sale of her World Cup-winner Good Star du Bary (Rock’N Roll Semilly x Oberon du Moulin).
“Thank you for being an all time favourite, not only for me but for everyone that worked with you,” Jessica wrote on social media. “Some horses are just a little bit extra special and you are certainly one of those. We will all miss you so much but I am looking forward to following your journey. From travelling all over Europe to that incredible night in Bordeaux, onto Saut Hermes in Paris and Texas WC Finals the last 6 months have been nothing short of dream stuff. Keep it up buddy, we wish the very best to everyone in your journey going forward.”
During the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ 2025/2026 season, Jessica and the 10-year-old gelding picked up points in Oslo, Verona, Stuttgart, Mechelen and Basel before taking the win in Bordeaux. Finishing 11th on the Western European League overall standings, Jessica qualified for her first FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, where the pair finished 24th.
