The late Kannan (Voltaire x Nimmerdor) has been announced as 2024 WBFSH Sire of the Year for jumping horses. Kannan has climbed from sitting third on last year's ranking, to top the 2024-edition with 25.853 points. James Kann Cruz (dam CSF Telly Cruz, by Cruising), Nikolaj de Music (dam Jolie de Muze, by Nabab de Reve) and Derby de Riverland (dam Utopie de Riverland, by L'Arc de Triomphe) are Kannan's best three progeny on the ranking list.

Chacco-Blue (Chambertin x Contender) follows as rank two on 24.939 points, maintaining his position from last year after having topped the ranking since 2017. Veneno (dam Agranuet, by Baloubet du Rouet), Cornet Blue PS (dam Corstara, by Cornet's Stern) and Up Too Jacco Blue (dam Celestial Up Too, by ARD VDL Douglas) are Chacco-Blue's top three ambassadors. 

Last year's no. one Diamant de Semilly (Le Tot de Semilly x Elf III) is down to rank three on 24.839 points, with Blood Diamond du Pont (dam Line du Pont, by Arpege Pierville), Odense Odeveld (dam Firenze Odeveld, by Querlybet Hero) and Bond James Bond de Hay (dam Noya d'Orcival, by Kannan) as his top three offspring. 

Cornet Obolensky (Clinton x Heartbreaker) is fourth on the ranking, followed by Mylord Carthago *HN (Carthago x Jalisco B) as rank five.

The ranking includes validated FEI results from October 1 2023 to September 30 2024.
