The Chronicle of the Horse reports that American showjumper Katie Dinan is the new rider of Dougie Douglas. The 10-year-old Irish bred gelding by Ard VDL Douglas x High Roller was sold at the Goresbridge Supreme Sale of Showjumpers in November, but it was not revealed who would take over the reins. Now, Dinan has confirmed to the US website that she is the one who secured herself this very talented horse.

Under British rider Holly Gillott, Dougie Douglas won Nations Cups in Odense (2014) and Rome (2015) as well as the CSI3* Grand Prix in Odense in 2014.
