Kent Farrington (USA) and Landon (Comilfo Plus Z x Quadrillo, bred by Danny Nijs) – who claimed team gold and individual silver at the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile – top the final FEI Ranking for horse-and-rider combinations in jumping for 2023 with 1868 points.
The 2023-ranking for horse-and-rider combinations in jumping includes validated results from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. The ranking list starts from zero on 1 January each year and finishes on the last day of December, with only the points of the current year taken into account. While the FEI Ranking for combinations is based on the same rules as the Longines Ranking, there is one major difference, as the ranking for combinations has no carryover of previous championships or Games points – with each pair starting from scratch at the beginning of each year.
Farrington and Landon are followed by Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville, bred by Susana Epaillard) in second with their 1788 points, ahead of Simon Delestre (FRA) and Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire, bred by S.C.R.I S.Ky Horses) in third with 1756 points.
With 1719 points, Richard Vogel (GER) and Cepano Baloubet (Chaman x Stakkato's Highlight, bred by Wolfgang Seemann) rank fourth, followed by Julien Epaillard and Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly, bred by Sylvain Pitois & Perrine Cateline) in fifth and Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) with his two mounts Dzara Dorchival (Qlassic Bois Margot x Raphael, bred by Sebastien Fonck) and King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo, bred by Wim Impens) in sixth and seventh respectively.
Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Elysium (VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. x Coronado, bred by Manfred Tummes) are rank number eight, while Emanuele Camilli (ITA) and Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly x Querlybet Hero, bred by Caroline De Laet) are rank nine, followed by Harrie Smolders (NED) and Monaco N.O.P. (Cassini II x Contender, bred by Ralf Lütje) who complete the top ten.
