Kyle King’s 13-year-old gelding SIG Chiari (Cristallo II x Landadel) has been sold to Canadian rider Amara Gottwald. Produced by Jana Wargers (GER) and Michael Cristofoletti (ITA) until he was 9 years old, SIG Chiari has in recent years competed successfully up to five-star 1.50m level with Kyle King (USA). Over the summer season the duo has recorded a string of good results with several top ten finishes at Spruce Meadows and at Thunderbird Show Park, with their last international appearance at the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’.
“Bittersweet goodbye but a huge congratulations to @amara_gottwald @farmhousedreamed on the purchase of SIG Chiari,” King wrote on social media as he announced the sale. “We are so excited for this new partnership and what they’ll accomplish together! Thank you, Chi, for being the best boy for the past few years!!”
