La Caramba (Carambole x Caretino 2), Calle 67 (Carell x Capitalist), Carlito’s Way 6 (Casall x Lordanos) and Cool Hand Luke 4 (Contendro I x Argentinus) leave Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Markus Beerbaum’s stable. The four horses, owned by Artemis Equestrian Farm, will go to Rodrigo Pessoa, who already has two top horses from Artemis, Quality FZ and Venice Beach.

“La Caramba, Calle, Carlito’s Way, and Cool Hand Luke will leave our stable,” explains Meredith. “Although we are very sad to see them go, we would like to thank Artemis Equestrian Farm for their many years of support. We have had great success together. One of my career highlights was the team bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with Fibonacci, a horse previously owned by Artemis.”

The four horses that are leaving have all been successful in the sport. La Caramba had two wins this year in the CSI2* Grand Prixs of Riesenbeck and Opglabbeek. Carlito’s Way recently won  the CSI2* Grand Prix in Lier with the Michaels and Beerbaum rider Rene Dittmer.

“We have had wonderful years with all the Artemis Equestrian Farm’s horses, but we look forward to the future. When one door closes, usually another one opens,” Meredith concludes.
