Sport

Longines has together with Ludger Beerbaum and the chairman of Beijing Dashing Equestrian Cultural CO Ltd, Jing Li, founded the Longines World Equestrian Academy. The goal is to promote showjumping in China through training and professional support. The program was developed by Ludger Beerbaum and involves a team of professional experts under his leadership.

The program involves two seminars each year for riders, grooms and horse owners at Ludger Beerbaum Equestrian Center in Beijing, and will focus on the welfare of the horse. It will also include preparations for the horses and riders competing at the international tournament Longines Equestrian Beijing Masters. Chinese riders and horses will also be given the opportunity to go to Riesenbeck, Germany to train and compete.
