Germany’s Marcus Ehning (50) has sustained an injury and will be forced to take a break from competition for the next few weeks.
Ehning shared with World of Showjumping that his injury most likely will leave him side-lined for the next three legs of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League – in Leipzig (GER), Amsterdam (NED) and Bordeaux (FRA). Having only picked up points in A Coruña (ESP) and London (GBR) in 2025, Ehning – who has competed at 22 FEI Jumping World Cup™ Finals and won three of them – looks set to miss out on the 2025/2026 season final in Forth Worth, Texas (USA), in April.
At World of Showjumping, we wish Marcus a speedy recovery!
