Eric Lamaze has taken over the reins on the 11-year-old Mill Creek Filippa K (For Contest x Dynast). The Canadian rider made his international debut with the mare at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington at the end of March.
Mill Creek Filippa K was brought up to 1.55m level by Marcus Ehning (GER), before Michael Jung (GER) competed her for a short period of time.
To World of Showjumping, the mare’s owner Tonya Knüsting (CAN) – who educated Mill Creek Filippa K as a youngster – explains: “As a junior, I was fortunate enough to train with Eric for many years. Mill Creek Stables has also had the pleasure of being an owner for Eric in the past. With this background and my own growing business relationship with Eric, it was a natural transition for Mill Creek Filippa K to go to him. Myself and everyone involved with Mill Creek Stables is very grateful for the continued opportunity to work with someone as talented and knowledgeable as Eric. We look forward to a successful future.”
