Germany’s Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann – currently ranked 41st in the world – has an exciting addition to her string of horses; the 11-year-old mare My Lady LaVista (Mylord Carthago x Levisto Z, bred by Klaus-Peter Wiepert and owned by Cherokee Show Horses Inc.).
Previously ridden by Ireland’s Conor Swail and USA’s Nicole Haunert, My Lady Lavista has already had much success all the way up to five-star level. With Swail in the saddle, the grey mare has recorded many wins and top-three-finishes this summer at venues such as Caledon Equestrian Park, Lexington Show Park and Spruce Meadows – and also helped the Irish team to the title in the CSIO4* Nations Cup at Thunderbird Show Park in June. Last year, Swail and My Lady Lavista jumped double clear to win the CSI5* 1.50m Major League Show Jumping team final at the same venue.
“Welcome My Lady LaVista,” Meyer-Zimmermann wrote in social media. “Thank you @cherokeeshowhorses for trusting me with this wonderful superstar mare!”
