Jur Vrieling has opened February with some big sales, as Cohiba VDL has been sold to Jennifer Goddard, Daylight VDL to Elizabeth Gingras and Del Mar to Tara Corr.
In the autumn of 2014, Cohiba VDL was sold to Hyperion Stud and Darragh Kenny took over the reins – but recently returned to Vrieling's stable. Now Vrieling's student Jennifer Goddard has bought the 10-year-old stallion by Chacco-Blue x Acord I.
Daylight VDL has been competed by Jur's partner Suzanne Tepper, and the 8-year-old gelding by Baloubet du Rouet x Stakkato has showed some great promise. Daylight VDL's new rider will be Canada's Elizabeth Gingras, one of Eric Lamaze's talented students.
Vrieling has also sold one of his other rides, the 8-year-old gelding Del Mar by Valentino x Spartan. Del Mar goes to the States, and Tara Corr.
